These Terms of Service govern the relationship between us and you, an individual user of our Platform. By accessing and using the Platform (which includes both our website and any app) and/or creating an Account, you are treated as agreeing to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, you must not use our Platform or create an Account.
We may change or amend these Terms of Service at any time. We encourage you to review these Terms of Service carefully and to check them periodically for any updates or changes. Your continued use of the Platform will be treated as your agreement to all updates or changes, whether or not you have read them.
These Terms of Service refers to our Privacy Policy, available at www.blankstreet.com/privacypolicy, which governs the basis on which we process personal data about you. Our Site uses cookies and details of these are contained in our Cookies Policy, available at www.blankstreet.com/cookies-policy. You are entitled at any time to reject all non-essential cookies.
We are Blank Street UK Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 13887702. We publish and operate the App within England and Wales. Our parent company, Blank Street Inc. (a US corporation) owns and operates the Site.
If you have any questions about the Site or the App, or if there is something in these Terms of Service that you wish to discuss, or if you would like to receive a copy of these Terms of Service in another format (for instance, audio or large print), please contact us at hey.uk@blankstreet.com (marked: Attention of Customer Support (UK)).
In these Terms of Service we use several defined terms, as follows:
“Account” means a user profile account on the Platform.
“App” means any mobile application published by us (or our affiliates).
“Blank Street”, “us” or “we” means Blank Street UK Limited.
“Platform” means the Site, the App and any services we provide to you via the Site or App.
“Site” means the website located at https://www.blankstreet.com/.
You must be at least 13 years old to access and use the Platform. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 years old, you may only access and use the Platform with the prior permission of your parent or legal guardian. If this applies to you, please ask them for permission before using the Platform.
The Platform is only intended to be accessed and used in England and Wales. The Platform may not be available, or appropriate to be accessed or used, from any other country.
We may, from time to time, release new versions of the Platform, or release/introduce new tools, products, services or features for the Platform. All of those will be subject to these Terms of Service (as updated from time to time).
Your use of the App may be controlled by terms and conditions of Apple (if downloaded via the Apple App Store onto an Apple device) or by Google (if downloaded via the Google Play Store onto an android device). If this is the case, then if there is any conflict between any clause of Apple’s or Google’s terms and conditions and any part of these Terms of Service, then Apple’s or Google’s clause shall apply.
We grant you the non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Platform for your personal purposes only. Your use must comply with the provisions of these Terms of Service. That right is licensed, and not sold to you. Your licence to use the Platform cannot be transferred, licensed or shared with anyone else. We may suspend or terminate your licence as provided by these Terms of Service. We refer to this licence as the “Platform Licence”.
You are not permitted to resell, distribute deal in or otherwise make any commercial use of (a) the Platform, (b) any Account Registration Data (defined below), (c) any content, materials, information, text, data, copyrights, Trade Marks (as defined below), logos, designs, insignia, images, photos, musical compositions, sound recordings, screenshots, videos, chats, posts, graphics, identifying marks, Site/App pages, software, and other original works of authorship and/or intellectual property uploaded to, or incorporated into, the Platform by or on behalf of Blank Street or any of its affiliates (collectively, “Platform Content”). The Platform Content is and shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Blank Street or its affiliates (or its third-party licensors).
We (and our licensors) remain the owners of all rights, title and interest in and to the Platform, throughout the world and at all times now and in the future, including include (but not limited to): (a) all text, graphics, typefaces, formatting, graphs, designs, editorial content, HTML, look and feel, software, and data, (b) all business processes, procedures, methods, and techniques used in the Platform, (c) all other materials and content uploaded or incorporated into the Platform, including, without limitation, all Platform Content, (d) and all associated trade secret rights and other intellectual property and proprietary rights recognized anywhere in the world (collectively, “Platform IP”).
You have no rights in or to the Platform IP or Platform Content except for the rights expressly granted to you under the Platform Licence.
In return for the Platform Licence granted to you, you acknowledge and agree that your registration as a user of the Platform and your use of the Platform may generate or increase revenues, goodwill, and the overall value of Blank Street. You agree that you will have no right to share in any such revenue, goodwill or value whatsoever.
All Blank Street trade marks and logos (referred to as the “Company Trade Marks”) used and displayed on the Platform are owned by us or our affiliates. Other product and service names located on the Service may be trade marks or service marks owned by third parties (referred to as the “Third-Party Trade Marks”).
Except as otherwise permitted by law, you may not use the Company Trade Marks or Third-Party Trade Marks (collectively referred to as the “Trade Marks”) in any manner except as expressly permitted by these Terms of Service, or in any way which would disparage us or our affiliates or the applicable third party, or which would disparage the Platform or our products or services, or those of the applicable third party, or which may otherwise damage any goodwill in the Trade Marks.
Additionally, you may not use any Trade Marks as part of a link to or from the Platform without our prior express written consent. All goodwill generated from the use of any Company Trade Mark will accrue solely to us and/or our affiliates, or (in the case of use of a Third-Party Trade Mark) to the applicable third-party owner.
While you may always browse the public-facing portions of the Platform without registering with us, in order to enjoy the full benefits of the Platform, you must register for and create an Account.
You agree to create only one unique Account and that you shall be the sole authorised user of your Account. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to submit certain personal information about you, such as your name, email address, and phone number, and to create an Account login password (collectively, “Account Registration Data”). Alternatively, we may permit you to register for an Account using your Facebook, Instagram, or other available and integrated social media plug-in credentials.
We shall use your Account Registration Data in connection with servicing and operating your Account on the Platform. Please read our Privacy Policy (available at www.blankstreet.com/privacypolicy) for further details of how we process your personal information in this context.
You shall ensure that all Account Registration Data you provide to us will be kept updated. We may from time to time modify or add to the Account Registration Data information fields required to create an Account, and you agree to promptly complete any additional or modified information fields if requested by us. In some cases, you will also need to update your Account and/or operating system settings to allow us to access your address book/contacts and enable the geolocation and camera/microphone functions.
Your Account registration is always subject to our confirmation in our absolute discretion. Your Account will become valid when we either confirm your registration or otherwise activate it.
You agree (a) to restrict access by any other person or entity to your password or other login information, (b) not knowingly to use the name or email of any other person without authorization, (c) not to use an email or Account profile name that is profane, offensive or otherwise inappropriate, (d) not to allow anyone else to use your login information, Account Registration Data or Account, and (e) not to re-create any new or additional Account in the event your original Account is suspended or terminated by us.
You agree that you will be liable to us for all activities that occur under your Account, even if those activities were not committed by you. You agree to notify us if you discover or suspect that the security of your Account has been compromised or breached.
When ordering goods from us via the Platform, you may select the store location for collection by you, or you may (if the feature is available) select to have the goods delivered to your address. Any additional charges relating to delivery will be displayed and included in the price at the time of your purchase. The range of goods available may include hot or cold beverages, snacks and foods and these will vary from time to time. We, Blank Street UK Limited, are the sellers of goods ordered via the Platform.
We will honour our legal duty to provide you with food and drink that are as described to you on the Platform, and that meet all the requirements imposed by law. If you believe that any goods you order fail to meet these requirements, you should report this to us as soon as possible and we will look to put this right for you. Our contact details are contained at the end of these Terms of Service.
All goods sold by us via the Platform are made to order and by their nature liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. For this reason, once you have ordered and purchased goods via the Platform you are not entitled to change your mind and cancel that purchase.
When you make purchases through the Platform, you must provide and maintain valid payment information (e.g., credit card number) in connection with your Account with us or with your third-party mobile application provider (e.g., Apple Store or Google Play Store).
You represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method you use via the Platform to make any purchase. You authorise us (or the provider of any subscription to which you subscribe) to charge your payment method for the total amount of your purchase (including any applicable taxes). Your order may be suspended or cancelled for any reason, including if the payment method cannot be verified, is invalid or is otherwise not acceptable.
Payment processing services for any purchases made via the Platform are currently provided by Squareup Europe Limited, Block, Inc. Square Capital, LLC, and/or Square Financial Services, Inc. and are subject to Square’s General Terms of Service (the “Square Services Agreement”). By agreeing to these Terms and continuing to operate an Account, you agree to be bound by the Square Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Square from time to time. As a condition of Blank Street enabling payment processing services through Square, you agree to provide us with accurate and complete information about you and/or your business, as applicable, and you authorise us to share such information and transaction details related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Square.
All prices are shown in British pounds sterling and (unless stated otherwise) are stated inclusive of all applicable taxes.
In the event of an error, we reserve the right to correct the error and revise your order accordingly (which includes charging the correct price) or to cancel the order and refund any amount charged.
Your (or the device owner’s) internet / mobile service provider or other third parties may charge you for accessing the Platform on your device, including data charges. These charges, and any other similar costs to use the Platform, are your (or the device owner’s) responsibility. You will not be paid in any way for using the Platform.
The Platform may in the future enable additional user interaction features such as to the ability to communicate and interact with other users, to upload images or content, to direct message other users, public forums/message boards, and other interactive community-based functionalities (collectively “UGC Features”).
If using UGC Features, you agree that you shall not in any circumstances upload, transmit via the Platform any “special category” personal data. This includes personal data relating to your health, religion, ethnicity, political opinions, sexual orientation and trade union membership. If we discover that you have done so, we will remove it immediately and we reserve the right to delete your Account and ban you from the Platform. None of the foregoing shall oblige us to actively screen the information that you provide.
In relation to your use of UGC Features, you are solely responsible for all of your interactions with, on or through the Platform and other users. In your interactions with other users, you agree to conduct yourself professionally, civilly and respectfully at all times and in no event will you harass, solicit, stalk, maliciously target, or otherwise make hurtful, defamatory, or derogatory comments towards, or engage in malicious conduct against, any other user. You acknowledge and agree that in using the Platform, we will not be responsible for the actions of any users with respect to any other user, and that we do not actively monitor or police the specific content, messages or other interactions between users of the Platform (and we have no obligation to do so).
We reserve the right to determine, in our absolute discretion, what constitutes harassment, mischief, or unacceptable conduct with or towards other users, and where that has occurred, we may in our absolute discretion, partially or completely, deny, suspend or terminate access to the Platform of any user that we determine has engaged in such conduct.
You are able to opt out of all email marketing communications sent to you by following the unsubscribe link or by emailing us at hey.uk@blankstreet.com. In those circumstances we remain entitled to send you service and administrative notifications related to the Platform, and your only way to opt out of those messages is to stop using the Platform and delete your Account.
We are not liable for any communications directed to you from any third-party directly or indirectly in connection with the Platform (“Third-Party Communications”) that you may receive, and any actions you may take or refrain from taking as a result of any Third-Party Communications. You are solely responsible for assessing and verifying the identity and trustworthiness of the source and content of any Third-Party Communications. We assume no responsibility for verifying, and makes no representations or warranties regarding, the identity or trustworthiness of the source or content of any Third-Party Communications.
The Platform may include third-party content or links (such as hyperlinks) to third-party websites, products or services (including external websites that are framed by the Platform as well as any advertisements displayed in connection therewith) that are not owned or controlled by us (collectively, “Third-Party Content”). They are provided as an information service, for reference and convenience only. We do not control any such Third-Party Content and we are not responsible for their availability or accuracy, or for content, advertising, or products or services contained in them. Inclusion of any Third-Party Content on the Platform does not constitute or indicate our endorsement of it and we shall not be liable or responsible for any Third-Party Content transmitted through the Platform. You shall be subject to any additional terms and conditions of use, guidelines or rules applicable to any Third-Party Content that you access through the Platform (“Third-Party Terms”). You acknowledge and agree that we will not and cannot censor or edit any Third-Party Content and that you shall assume the sole responsibility for and risk associated with your use of Third-Party Content, including compliance with the terms and conditions of use, privacy policies, or practices associated therewith. Please ensure to read the terms and conditions of use and privacy policies associated with any Third-Party Content.
The Platform and Platform Content may not be used, modified, reproduced, duplicated, copied, published, distributed, downloaded, sold, resold, transformed, redesigned, reconfigured, retransmitted, or otherwise exploited by you for any purpose except either (a) in accordance with the features and functionality generally made available by us to users of the Platform, or (b) with the express prior written consent of Blank Street or the applicable third-party owner, in each instance.
With limiting the foregoing, while using the Platform, you may not conduct any of the following activities:
• Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, bully, or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as, but not limited to, rights of privacy and publicity) of Blank Street or other users, or use information learned from the Platform to otherwise defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, bully, intimidate or mislead, or otherwise violate the legal rights of Blank Street or any other user outside of the Platform. • Interact with other users to communicate or distribute information, that is defamatory, profane, infringing, obscene, pornographic, unlawful (e.g., drug use or other criminal activity), offensive and/or harmful, including, but not limited to, content that advocates, endorses, condones or promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any individual or group of individuals. • Interact with other users in a manner that makes a political message for or against any person, party, political belief or issue, or religion, or that is harshly critical of any author, artist, contributor, or copyright owner of any content or materials embodied therein. • Publish or make available, or request or solicit other users to publish or make available, any personal contact or location information (e.g., phone number, e-mail address, physical address, third-party platform social media handles, location information, etc.), whether via any public or user interaction features and functionalities (now or in the future) available on the Platform. • Solicit or induce, or attempt to solicit or induce, other users on the Platform to take any actions that could be harmful to such users or any other person or property, or that otherwise would violate any applicable laws. • Use the Platform for any purpose in violation of applicable law. • Upload files that contain software or other material, that violates the intellectual property rights (or rights of privacy or publicity) of any third-party or for which you have not obtained the necessary rights or permissions to use accordingly. • Upload files that contain software or other material, that features any person that has not given you express permission to include such person in such files and who has not granted you all rights necessary or required for you to upload such files, including, without limitation, such person’s name, image, voice, likeness, biographical material, and any other right of publicity/privacy held by such person in connection with such files. • Upload files that contain software or other material, that features any person under the age of 18 without first obtaining written permission from such person’s parent or legal guardian, and which written permission grants you all rights necessary or required for you to upload such files, including, without limitation, such person’s name, image, voice, likeness, biographical material, and any other right of publicity/privacy held by such person in connection with such files • Upload files that contain viruses, Trojan horses, corrupted files, malware, spyware, bugs, or any other similar software that may damage or infiltrate the operation of any other user’s computer. • Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose through the Platform, or otherwise post commercial advertisements, affiliate links, and other forms of solicitation, without our prior written consent in each instance (and we may remove those from the Platform without notice to you at any time). • Conduct or forward surveys, sweepstakes, contests, pyramid schemes, or chain letters. • Impersonate another person or user or knowingly allow any other person or entity to use your identification or account to post or view comments on, or otherwise utilize, the Platform. • Download any file posted by another user that a user knows, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed through the Platform. • Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Platform. • Imply or state that any statements you make are endorsed by Blank Street or any other user, without the prior written consent of Blank Street or such user. • Use a robot, spider, manual and/or automatic processes, or devices to data-mine, data-crawl, scrape or index the Platform in any manner. • Hack or interfere with the Platform, its servers or any connected networks. • Adapt, alter, license, sublicense or translate the Platform for your own personal or commercial use. • Remove or alter, visually or otherwise, any copyrights, trademarks or proprietary marks and rights owned by us or any other user. • Use the Platform to collect Account Registration Data by electronic or other means. • Use the Platform in a manner which is false or misleading (directly or by omission or failure to update information) or for the purpose of accessing or otherwise obtaining our trade secret information for public disclosure or other purposes.• Direct message any user who has asked you not to do so. • Use or exploit (or seek to use or exploit) any Platform IP in any manner that could compete with our business. • Cause or induce any third-party to engage in the restricted activities above.
The License granted to you in these Terms of Service terminates automatically upon any unauthorised use of the Platform and we may take appropriate investigative and legal action for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Platform. You acknowledge that violation of any of the above restrictions may subject you to third-party claims and none of the rights granted to you in these Terms of Service may be raised as a defense against any third-party claims arising from any such violation.
If you learn of any user who has violated these Terms of Service and any of the Platform usage restrictions set forth above, please email us at hey@blankstreet.com or inform us through the applicable reporting functionality offered via the Platform. Blank Street may, but is not obliged to, take any of the actions set forth in Section 13 below against users who violate any of the above restrictions.
The Platform is available only to persons (a) who are at least 18 years old or (b) who are between 13 to 18 years old who access and use the Platform with parental/legal guardian permission.
You represent and warrant that that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into, and to be bound by, these Terms of Service.
You represent and warrant that: (a) all Account Registration Data and other information that you submit onto the Platform, is true, accurate, current and complete; (b) that you are the sole owner of all right, title and interest in, or have obtained all necessary rights and licenses from the applicable third-party owner, of information you submit or upload onto the Platform (including content uploaded when using UGC Features) to grant Blank Street the rights set forth herein, free and clear any of further payment or attribution requirements; and (c) that such information, when used for the purposes in which it is submitted onto the Platform, does not infringe upon the rights of any third-party, including, without limitation, contract rights, intellectual property rights, propriety rights and rights of privacy.
You acknowledge and agree that you shall be solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all Account Registration Data uploaded by you and other information that you post, upload, link to, publish, exchange, or display onto the Platform. We reserve the right to reject, refuse to post, edit, modify, remove all or a portion of any Account Registration Data, or other information or content from the Platform that we determine, in our sole discretion, does not comply with these Terms of Service, or for any other reason, without notice or liability to you.
You represent and warrant that any Account Registration Data and other information or content that you upload to the Platform (including through use of UGC Features): (a) will not be fraudulent or involve the sale of counterfeit or stolen items; (b) will not violate any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation (including without limitation those governing export control, consumer protection, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising); (c) will not be defamatory, libellous, unlawfully threatening, or unlawfully harassing; (d) will not be obscene or contain child pornography or be harmful to minors; (e) will not contain any viruses, Trojan Horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information; and (f) will not create liability for Blank Street or its affiliates, or cause Blank Street or its affiliates to lose (in whole or in part) the services of its internet service providers (ISPs) or other partners or suppliers.
We may investigate complaints or reported violations of the Terms of Service by you. We may take any action we deem appropriate as a result of those investigations, including, but not limited to, reporting any suspected unlawful activity to law enforcement officials, regulators or other third parties, and disclosing any information necessary or appropriate to such persons or entities relating to or associated with your Account.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability to you, to disable, suspend or terminate your Account or access to the Platform (either in whole or in part), or remove, block, hide or otherwise delete any content that you upload to the Platform, at any time for any reason. Examples of circumstances in which we may consider doing this are: (a) if we believe that you have violated or acted inconsistently with these Terms of Service or any applicable law, or (b) if you have engaged in conduct that we determine to be inappropriate or unacceptable in our sole discretion, including, without limitation, any violation of the restrictions set forth in Section 11 of these Terms of Service, or (c) if you bring any action or claim against Blank Street or its affiliates or bring any action or claim that involves the Platform.
In addition to our rights set out above (and whether we not we exercise those rights), we also reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to seek any other remedies available to us at law as a result of your breach of these Terms of Service or any other act or omission by you that gives rise to a claim by us.
If we terminate, limit, or suspend your right to use the Platform, you are prohibited, without our prior written consent, from registering and creating a new Account under your name, a fake or borrowed name, or the name of any third-party, even if you may be acting on behalf of the third-party. If your right to use the Platform is terminated, limited, or suspended, these Terms of Service will remain in effect and enforceable against you.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, all sections of these Terms of Service which by their nature should survive expiry or termination shall continue in full force and effect subsequent to the expiry or termination of these Terms of Service.
You may terminate these Terms of Service at any time by deleting your Account and ceasing all use of the Platform. Please note that, deleting the Platform from your computer or mobile device will not delete your Account, and any content that you have previously uploaded will remain on the Platform. If you wish to delete your Account, please login to your Account on the Site or click the Account profile icon in the App, and once inside your Account profile, select "Delete Account".
You agree not to display or use in any manner any (a) trade mark, service mark, logo, design, insignia, trade dress, slogan, or other brand features, either registered under the laws of the United Kingdom or any other country or jurisdiction, or unregistered and existing at common law, belonging to Blank Street or its affiliates or any third-party, or (b) any text, image, video, or other item of content, that violates any other intellectual property right of any third-party, including, without limitation, any right of privacy or publicity, unless you obtain our or the applicable third-party’s prior written permission.
We reserve the right to remove any Platform Content, or any information or content uploaded by you, that allegedly infringes any other person’s trade mark, service mark or other intellectual property right. We shall terminate, in appropriate circumstances (and in our sole determination), the Accounts of any user who is a repeat infringer of another party’s trade mark or service mark. Notices to Blank Street regarding any such alleged infringement should be directed to Blank Street via email at: hey@blankstreet.com and shall include such supporting documentation and information sufficient or reasonably requested by us in order to verify such allegation.
The Platform may contain advertising and sponsorships. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Platform is accurate and complies with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, with respect to product/service endorsements and paid sponsorships/advertisements. We shall not be responsible or liable to you for the illegality of or any error or inaccuracy in advertisers’ or sponsors’ materials, or for the acts or omissions of advertisers and sponsors.
We do not make any representation or warranty to you that (a) the access to the Platform will be timely or uninterrupted, or that it will be free of errors, or that defects will be corrected, or that it will always be accessible, or (b) the Platform is free from viruses, worms, Trojan Horses or other harmful components, or (c) use of the Platform will not infringe any rights of anyone else, or (d) the Platform Content will be accurate, complete or error-free.
We are not responsible or liable to you for: (a) any loss or damage you suffer due to the conduct (whether online or offline) of any other user of the Platform or customer of Blank Street; (b) any loss or damage as a result of someone else using your Account, Account Registration Data or password with or without your knowledge; or (c) issues relating to the internet generally, such as broadband availability, connection speed and other matters outside of our control which may affect the quality and availability of the Platform, and your ability to use it.
The Platform may contain links to other independent sites or services which are not provided by us. These independent sites and services are not under our control, and we do not endorse or assume any responsibility for those sites and services. We are not responsible for those sites and services in any way, and have not checked and approved their content or their privacy policies (if any).
If we fail to comply with these Terms of Service, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms of Service or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Your only right or remedy with respect to any problems or dissatisfaction you have with the Platform or your Account is to uninstall and delete it or stop using it. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time you accepted these Terms of Service, both we and you knew it might happen.
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Access to and use of the Platform requires a compatible mobile device/web browser and internet connection. It also requires that we have access to your device identifier and location information. Although we are working to ensure that the Platform is compatible across various devices, we cannot guarantee that the Platform will work with all devices.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your computer or mobile device complies with the requirements for accessibility. Your use of the Platform may vary in functionality, availability and quality depending on the type of the device and the operating system that you use and we accept no responsibility for any lack of functionality that is due to your equipment (including your device, internet connection, operating system or settings and software).
It is your responsibility to pay for all costs and expenses that you may incur while using the Platform (including, but not limited to, all telephone call or line charges or Internet data service access charges).

We are not responsible and will have no liability for any failures of the Internet or any data or telecommunications equipment, system or network used in connection with the Platform.
We may in the future update the Platform for repair or maintenance purposes or to change any tools, products, services, functionalities, or features thereof (an “Update”). We shall not be liable to you in any way as a result of any temporary or permanent suspension of the Platform attributable to an Update. Furthermore, we are not obliged to implement an Update if any Platform Content and/or other tool, product, service, functionality, or feature is out of date. The terms of the License granted to you hereunder shall apply in full to any Update. Following an Update, you may not be able to use the Platform until you have downloaded the latest version and accepted any new terms.

English law governs these Terms of Service. Each of us hereby agrees only to bring legal claims or actions relating to the Platform or these Terms of Service in the courts of England and Wales.
We may assign, sub-contract or otherwise transfer any or all of our rights and/or obligations under these Terms of Service to any company, firm or person. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms of Service to anyone else.
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your access to and use of the Platform and Platform Content. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The Platform contains certain open source software. Each item of open source software is subject to its own applicable license terms.
The communications between you and us use electronic means, whether you use the Site or send us emails, or whether we post notices on the Site or communicate with you via email (or by other electronic means). You consent to receive communications from us in an electronic form. You agree that all legal communications and documentation that we provide to you electronically satisfies all legal requirements that such communications and documentation would satisfy if it were required to be in a hardcopy writing. This does not however affect your statutory rights.
If you choose to contribute by sending us any ideas for any products, services, features, modifications, enhancements, content, refinements, technologies, content offerings (such as audio, visual, games, or other types of content), promotions, strategies, or product/feature names, or any related documentation, artwork, computer code, diagrams, or other materials (collectively, “Feedback”), then regardless of what your accompanying communication may say, the following terms will apply, so that future misunderstandings can be avoided.
